Ginger Garlic paste

Green Onions (chopped)

Split Bengal gram (chana dal) soaked
3 Table Spoon
Split green gram with skin (chilkewali moong dal),soaked
3 Table Spoon
Broken wheat (dalia/lapsi) soaked 3 tablespoons
1 Table Spoon
Red chili powder
1 Table Spoon
Turmeric Powder
3 Table Spoon
Fresh coriander leaves (Chopped)

Chicken Haleem Recipe

Chicken Haleem Recipe is a famous world food mostly in India and Pakistan. It’s not a seasonal food. People prepare it during ramzan (Ramdan) season and in ordinary days also at home.

Chicken Haleem’s taste is beyond every think if it cooked well, this is a slow cooked stew made with meat and lentils.

COOKING METHOD

  1. Heat oil in a deep pot.
  2. Add ingredients like green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, cumin seeds and onions and fry till light brown.
  3. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and continue to fry.
  4. Add chana dal (Split Bengal gram), moong dal (Split Green gram) and dalia and stir.
  5. Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix.
  6. Add half a cup of water and cook for two to three minutes.
  7. Add chicken cubes and salt and mix.
  8. Add four cups water and let it come to a boil.
  9. Add garam masala powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
  10. Stir and cover.
  11. Cook on medium heat till done.
  12. Remove the bay leaves.
  13. Blend it lightly using a hand blender and serve hot.
