Red chili powder

Today we are sharing a very basic and tasty recipe and that is Bhindi Recipe (Ladyfinger recipe or Okra recipe).

It is very famous and too much liked in every continent of the world, so follow our master chef’s recipes of Bhindi to get awesome taste at your home. You need to cut Bhindi into small pieces and cooked with chopped onions and dry spices.

This simple dish tastes great with fresh and hot chapatis or parathas

COOKING METHOD

  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet or Pan over medium heat until Oil becomes hot.
  2. Spray in a few mustard seeds to test the oil.
  3. Make sure oil hot enough when the seeds sizzle and pop.
  4. Quickly add the remaining mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  5. Cook, stirring, until very fragrant, about 1 minute, covering the pan as needed to contain any splattering.
  6. Reduce heat to medium.
  7. Add onion and cook, stirring, until it is starting to brown, 6 to 7 minutes.
  8. Add okra, increase heat to medium to high and cook, stirring often, until the mucilage from the Bhindi (okra) starts to release and the onion darkens, 5 to 6 minutes more.
  9. Add coriander, paprika, salt, turmeric and chili powder to taste (or cayenne).
  10. Cook, stirring often, until the okra is browned in spots and the vegetables look very dry, 8 to 12 minutes more.
